Senior Consultant – John Sullivan
Mr. John Sullivan is the Managing Partner of NexGen IP Solutions, LLC and Co-Founder of Agilence, Inc. A seasoned executive and technology professional for over 21 years, Mr. Sullivan has extensive experience in taking entrepreneurial leads with early stage technology companies, crafting and executing strategies for sustained growth.
In 2006, Mr. Sullivan co-founded Agilence, Inc. and led the acquisition and turnaround of a distressed, venture backed software technology firm. With rebranding, product development and marketing efforts, Agilence quickly secured key partnerships with the likes of IBM, Cisco, Schneider Electric & Nice Systems as well as enterprise deployments in multiple billion dollar retail chains. The accelerated sales attracted institutional funding and enabled the recruitment of a senior team to secure future growth. Agilence is now widely recognized as the leader in Store Performance Analysis and POS Video Auditing. Prior to Agilence, in 2003, Mr. Sullivan put together a team that rebranded and re-launched an independent, North American OEM Distributer for Fast Video Security (Acquired by Nice Systems in 2005) through a company known as Alpha Point. In a twenty-four (24) month span, AlphaPoint realized profitable growth and was recognized as an industry leader in the Casino Digital Video Surveillance space. These accomplishments led to being acquired by Synectics Systems, Inc. a subsidiary of Quadnetics, a UK based AIM listed firm, in 2005. Prior to AlphaPoint, Mr. Sullivan was the General Manager of ASSI Security of Arizona, a large regional based integration company which focused on large scale security management implementations and Intelligent Traffic Surveillance Systems. During his reign his team stemmed the company’s previous sales decline and profitably managed revenue increases by 284%.
Mr. Sullivan’s career achievements provide a unique ability to understand a firm’s application value and strategic opportunity paths. In addition to his management roles, Mr. Sullivan has an extensive advisory background, helping early stage companies with corporate development, strategic planning, capital raising, revenue generation, international alliances, mergers and acquisitions. His consulting experience ranges from enterprise application software, security management systems, intelligent traffic systems, content video analytics, IP-based video surveillance technologies, remote monitoring systems and medical technology. He has worked with both venture-backed firms and boot-strapped funded companies.
